Clinical Training Program 

Counseling Options and Parent Education (C.O.P.E.) Family Support Center is a nonprofit organization that provides family support services and educational opportunities for families at risk in Contra Costa County.

 

Our mission is to strengthen families through counseling services and parent education. We provide comprehensive support services that empower parents, encourage healthy relationships, and cultivate nurturing families. 

 

Society's problems can best be solved through community effort. If your passion is to help families stop the trauma of abuse, neglect, helplessness, mental illness, instability, and crime in our community through education,

we welcome you to join us.

In addition to the hours spent in direct face to face services with clients and some administrative duties, our program offers the following weekly for 1 hour/week:

C.O.P.E. welcomes MSW, MFT, and MA CPSY students who are seeking practicum internships.
